Live streams on Meerkat are about to get a lot more exciting.
Some GoPro owners are now able to live stream video from their action cameras directly to the live streaming app, Meerkat announced Thursday.
Meerkat’s update will support live streaming from GoPro’s Hero 3 and Hero 4 cameras, the company confirmed to Mashable. The update, first reported by CNBC, is available now as a beta for GoPro’s Hero 3, with support for the Hero 4 coming soon.
In a teaser video posted to Twitter Thursday, the live streaming app showed off the upcoming feature, which will be compatible with Meerkat’s iOS app. The company says Android support is also in the works. Read more…
